Very happy with this bunkbed. Perfect for my 5 year old daughter. I give it 4 and not 5 stars only because, as it has been mentioned in other reviews, the wood panels or planks that support the mattress are exposed and not smooth, leaving chance that a kid could get a splinter she he or she reach up and touch it. Outside of that great purchase.
This is a nice set. Took about 4 hours to put together without power tools. A bit longer than expected. The only thing I dont like is the large sticker tag on the inside on the top bunk headboard. Its very large and you cant remove it without taking off paint. Otherwise, its sturdy, attractive and I like the fact that you can seperate the beds and have 2 regular twin beds.
We are thrilled with these beds! They are solid, sturdy, and have held up well to daily jumping from my 2-year-old. My husband is 64 and weighs over 200lbs, and the bed is strong enough to support his large frame when he lays down to read our son a bedtime story. My favorite feature is that the beds can be set up as two separate twins, instead of a bunk bed - the top bunk is a perfect toddler bed, with rails all around the sides for safety, and its low height allows small toddlers to climb into bed unassisted. We actually bought this set for that very reason! We were in need of a toddler bed, but this set was cheaper than any toddler beds we liked, and we got a bonus bed that our son can transition to when his baby brother is ready for the toddler bed!
We purchased these bunk beds for our 4 6 year old boys. After using them for over a year they are still holding up very well. Very sturdy, Ive even slept in the top bunk a few times.
Quality is great and it looks good. The distance between the beds is a bit tight. An adult can not sit on the edge of this bunk bed. Great for smaller kids.
take the solid hours 2 hours to assemble make sure you charge your drill. Instructions are kind of confusing but once you do one half the other half is so much easier. Needs a little bit patience but looks great.
I am not happy. This bed did not even last a full year. My 90 pound daughter cracked the slat on the bed/bottom bunk when she stood on it . It was a good price easy to assemble did not smell anything as other reviewers complained. Looked great until it broke 9 months later.
