These are very sturdy bunk beds. I did have a little trouble with the instructions, because there were no words and the pieces of the bunk bed as well as the hardware were not marked. I however got it put together and my daughter loves it! I am going to put some finishing caps over the bolt holes to dress it up a little. Well worth the money I paid for it.
Our bunk bed came early and when we got it put together, it was perfect. The assembly wasnt too bad either. It went a lot smoother than what we expected. The top bunk does sit a bit lower than usual so my younger daughter did hit it the first couple times going in it, but shes used to it now!
I purchased this bed for my three and five year old that are currently sharing a room due to a third baby coming. We got the bed for $209 with free shipping and I will say that I am very pleased. The package took a long trek from Washington state to Virginia and was in GREAT condition and packed very tightly to prevent damage. The pieces have a pretty good finish although the wood is very soft and nicks and dins happen very easily. The instructions and parts seem overwhelming at first but knowing that the assembly can be a pain coupled with good patience then it isnt difficult at all. Once Assembled both beds look great and are extremely sturdy and can handle the punishment that kids can put things through. I would definitely recommend this product to other customers and purchase from the same vendor.
This bunkbed is awesome. I have a four year old and a two year old, so we left the ladder off and the four year old can climb up whenever he wants, and the two year old cant! The space between the top and bottom bunks is smaller than others I saw, which also makes reaching into the top bunk easier. And when they are older we can take them apart because they turn into seperate twin beds!

Dont buy products. I purchased a Long Horn Bunk Bed on AUG 3 2011. It arrived on time but the box was in TATTERS! I returned it, and the exchanged shipment arrived but only marginally better. My girls were excited so I opened it anyway and now ITs MISSING 4 ESSENTIAL PARTS without which the bunk bed cannot be made. I called this company and was told new parts would be sent. Now its SEP 13 2011 when the parts arrive. And the WRONG PARTS are sent. I call AGAIN after being on hold numerous times and WASTING MY TIME on this. After curt apologies from the company, I was told the right part would be sent. Now its OCT 6 2011 -- yes TWO MONTHS LATER. And the WRONG PART IS SENT AGAIN! I now face another phone call to the company. DO NOT BUY . I cant really review the bed because the COMPANY DOES NOT SEND THE RIGHT PARTS! Did I mention, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY?

They cannot get it right in THREE ATTEMPTS and apparently DONT KNOW WHAT THEY HAVE SENT and need me to send them pictures. WHAT A HASSLE! I should have just gone down to a local dealer and purchased a bed from a real furniture company, not a toy company sending puzzle pieces one by one. , please discontinue this product. Tick tock, maybe by Christmas we will have an assembled bed . . .
My granddaughter was ready to move up and out of her toddler bed and her brother was ready to get out of his crib.I saw these beds and knew that they would be perfect for my grandchildren. I had a bit of trouble getting them here but once they were here and assembled they were perfect. Kaylie loves sleeping on the top bunk and soon Emmett will be joining her on the bottom bunk. At a recent party that included friends from Kaylies daycare the beds got the seal of approval from all her friends. Im so glad I chose these beds.
The bed came shipped from via UPS. Box was damaged but the bed was relatively untouched.
Instructions were relatively clear. If you assembled Ikea furniture, its the same type of pictographic instruction. Just make sure you have the right leg pieces and match it to the picture for that given step.
Quality and accuracy of manufacture made assembly a breeze.
Once assembled, the bed looks nice and is sturdy. The ladder is a bit misleading since it actually doesnt look like the picture and is actually responsible for holding both the top and bottom bunks together very firmly.
I did add a slight mod to the lower bunk feet. I added 1mm cork pads to prevent it from sliding on the hardwood floors. Ill also add an earthquake strap to bolt it to a wall stud for improved safety.
Overall we are very happy with the bunk bed. Box could have been made more sturdy with extra nylon strapping.
Product was fine, but it didnt include instructions. It took me a while but i did manage to get it together without the instructions. Not for people who want easy assembly even if i had instructions! The bed itself once put together is fine.
