We bought this bed for my 6 year old. We purchased it with the trundle. Eventually we will buy a pop up trundle, but this works out great for now. The bed was easy for two men to assemble and its sturdy and does not squeak. I was nervous after reading the reviews about the metal being rough and icky. Its a beautiful bed. The bed frame is not rough, but I can see what reviewers were talking about. My daughters furniture is espresso, and the bed definitely has more of the brown tones than bronze but it looks great Im so happy with it!
This frame is so much prettier in person. Its heavy duty and went together simply. I love how you can choose the height. Adds such a nice touch to our bedroom!
