Me, a 50 fat woman, put this bed together, by herself in two hours. Its an aming bed. But, the side bar is too hard to screw in the way they say to do it in the instructions, so I turned it upside down, screwed it in and then flipped it over. Its gorgeous! Enjoy!
My Dad and I put it together. It took awhile but the directions were pretty straight forward and it came with all tools required. Ive had the frame for about a month now and no issues. Makes a little noise when I get in and out of the bed but its pretty sturdy. I finally got the canopy drape set for it that came with tassels and the star lights (sold separately on ). I love it! Would highly recommend!
The bed had lots of parts but was easy to assemble. It was very sturdy and had lots of support with multiple legs and many cross beams. We found it easiest to assemble by putting the base up against the wall until getting to the upper part, so we didnt need to keep walking carefully through the rails.
Easy to assemble, all the parts were well labeled and it looks and feels like a much more expensive bed. The mattress support with a modern memory foam mattress is very comfortable.
My wife and I have been sleeping on it for a few weeks now. It looks great! It took us a few hours to assemble / would probably go faster with 3 people. It is not as silent as our old Zinus wooden platform bed frame, but it feels sturdy (our combined weight is around 300 lbs, for reference). We have a 12 in hybrid mattress on it, no box spring. The creaks might be minimized by placing felt on the ? Overall, happy with our purchase and hope to get 5 years out of it at least. Will update review if it breaks.
