I like this bed and the concept for imizing space but there were some issues with it which required me to DIY to make it work. For starters during the assembly I had an issue with the not flaying flat on the bed (picture included). Turns out the metal bracket holding the center beam was preventing this. I had to notch out a section of the slat with my dremel saw attachment to allow the wood to go around the bracket and sit flat. Also the ladder for the bed has little to no grip. I had to purchase some grip tape for the steps to prevent my 5 year old son from slipping, especially if he was wearing socks (picture included). This is a big safety over sight from the manufacture. Thirdly I needed to buy opposite direction to prevent the mattress from falling through. They should have included more to prevent this IMO. Lastly the bed does sake a little bit when my son gets into the bed. Wish the manufacture provided a way yo mount to the wall. All in all I was able to get what i wanted out of the bed but I still dont think these issues should be present with a almost 500 bed.
Also the product description is misleading about the curtain underneath. When purchasing this it shows a picture of the bed with the curtain and also mentions it in the production description like it is going to be in the package. But when i received the product it was no where to be found and found out it is actually a 100 add on. That too is disappointing. It does not say sold separately or in other options.
The pros for this bed are its solid wood. Can hold my weight (180 lbs) although i will not be sleeping in it. Its well packaged and the directions to assemble were ok for someone that puts furniture together all the time. I am still working on figuring out a way to secure to the wall but for now I feel comfortable with letting my son sleep in it.
Cons are that I had to make multiple modifications to the bed. Some safety aspects that should not be present since this is for kids. And the manufacture does not return phone calls. I have left two messages with the provided number that tells me my customer satisfaction is their main concern but have not received one call back. Very disappointing . And the 100 add on for the house curtain is poor quaintly and should have a better mounting mechanism. Read so many reviews of people saying that they needed to add screws to the Velcro strips. Plus they just hang and dont attach to the legs.
Hope my review helps people know what they are getting into when buying this bed. With that said this is why I gave the bed an overall rating of a 2. Good luck everyone
The bed is awesome the midget loves it, its not to high off the ground he loves his slide that comes with it, thank to the house no more making tents out of pillows

I used a drill on low setting.
Some side rail spots got a little tricky doing on my own, but I figured it out. Just didnt tighten bolts until I had things popped into place one side at time.
Threw some Christmas lights underneath, and Ill be Surprising my almost 4 year old. Hope he likes
We knew we werent buying top of the line, but our kids love the bed anyway. The sturdiness of the is an issue though. Kids want to jump on beds, plain and simple. You tell them no, but they do it anyway. Literally, one good bounce within a minute of the bed being set up and we ended up with a broken slat on the top bunk.
The cry thing was that I contacted to see if theyd replace the broken slat, and they replaced the ENTIRE bed for us. I was shocked. My advice though is to add some sturdy boards in between the , regardless of WHs great customer service. Its just better not to have to deal with it.
Here are the slat specs if youre so inclined: 39/1/8 long. Theres 2.5 (with clearance) spacing between each slat.

I really did my homework before concluding this bed would be the best buy on a budget. Other reviews about their experiences with the manufacturer were a major selling point for me, yet I have received NO response to my inquiry about the pictured findings when the product arrived!! I did not demand a refund or anything Karen either, I simply asked how to go about replacing 2 boards, stating I was pretty sure I could still use everything else without issue. I reached out via email as directed on included instructions 3 days agoand still here I sit with a broken/hearted 4 year old who was SO looking forward to his new Big Boy Bed I realize its a pipe dream to have decent furniture flawlessly delivered, but at least respond!!! Disappointed, raise your budget 100 and go with another company.
I thought this bed would be a challenge to put together, but I started by myself and was almost done by the time my son and his friend jumped in. It was quick, easy to follow and I LOVE how it looks! I am thinking this wont be the only one I purchase for this house! Really do LOVE it!
Not an easy task to assemble, I thought the previous reviewers had never picked up a screwdriver but this thing is not easy to assemble. Even the security bars that hold up the bed are too short. We had to lean all of our weight together when installing screws(it required a power drill). That being said it is sturdy. The wood is easily scratched and dented but we love the bed for the price.

Cute but missing parts ladder broke easily
The ladder split when trying to connect it to the bed frame. It was also missing two of the wood corks which we had to go out and purchase.
