I would have given this 5 stars BUT....the company drilled the holes for the screws too large! I ended up putting wood glue in the holes--let it set up almost completely, and then putting in the screws. A real pain. That being said, it still came out looking good. I think the item is over priced.

The direction could be more explained. It was hard to see what side was suppose to be up or down or back or forward.

It's a great bench! Strong enough for an adult to sit on! It's not real wood but works great in my girls room as a reading bench and extra storage!
