Beautiful piece of furniture. Looks like other daybeds that cost twice as much. Rich dark walnut color. Very sturdy feel. It is helpful to have two people for assembly. If no help is available, I'd suggest add small amount of glue in slats on one back rail before attaching to other side. It's a little difficult to line them all up and keep together while assembling ends. It's a piece of cake to assemble otherwise. I purchased a 6innerspring mattress from as well. I've ordered a memory foam topper for the mattress. A thicker mattress will look better on this daybed.
The box came without any hardware, quick call to cuatomer service resolved that issue and they sent it to me. Putting it together was a bit tricky as I was by myself. It can be done, but it's easier with help. There's one screw that WILL NOT go into place no matter what I try. So I'll just have to be careful with the back. Instructions were fairpy straightforward. The little vertical pieces in the arms and back of the frame aren't secured so it can be difficult maneuvering the pieces into place.
It was hard to find a daybed with the option to add a trundle. I like the price and the quality is good too. Not hard to assemble and all of the screws etc were very organized!
Just have multiple cracks and dents in the wood but it's not terrible. And it can't be noticed once the bed is dressed up. If you're on a budget and don't wanna spend ridiculous money on a daybed this is for you. Also be sure to pay close attention to the instructions for the side rail white tabs. I used two of the same woods to assemble that's why the white side rails kept falling out and weren't sturdy. If they aren't sturdy and keep falling out your obviously doing something wrong.

Misleading color
This is not ESPRESSO, it's dark cherry, I hate cherry but I didn't feel like returning it so I'll just paint it at some point.
