This bed is totally worth the money...it looks great and was easy to put together. We used the mattress and boxspring from the old bed and its perfect! Thanks to those who said the wood slats arent that sturdy - placing the boxspring on top of them makes for a worry free bed.
The center bar that connects the wood slats wont go any lower so it is causing my mattress to be raised higher in the center and is very uncomfortable

This came in a flat rectangle box. I really appreciate how the company is customer oriented and provided instruction, all your screws labeled, tools and all your pieces labeled. All you need is a power screwdriver. It took me 35 minutes to assemble.
It even came with a matching headboard! Bedframe looks very sleek and elegant. I just tossed on our 12 inch foam mattress and it was complete.
ROFL, our friends and family thought we paid close to $1000 for this luxurious bedframe.

I love this bed frame, it looks awseome and I was wary of rigid Ness in the middle but it is sturdy and makes my memory foam mattress, 12 inch, feel even better. I am super happy, especially considering the price. The panels look great and feel nice, no cheap look to them, nice and heavy. My package did not come with directions, but I literally Googled the bed and found the manufacturer and downloaded the pdf.
I think the picture of this bed sorta looks better than what it looks like in person. I mean it is an ok looking bed. I will say that it is a pain to put together (and I put alot of things together). At one point in assembling, you are going to need a second set of hands. Make sure to really pay attention to the instructions, otherwise if you are not really good at putting things together you can mess it up. Even though I am pretty good at putting things together, it took me almost two hours to put together (95% I did alone). At about the same time that I purchased this bed, I also purchased another bed very similar but from a different company. They both are the same size and design. However, the other bed was so much easier to assemble, and appears to be sturdier. All in all, for the price it is not a bad bed.
