So far I am super impressed with this bed and furniture. I bought the bed, headboard, nightstand and the end of the bed storage cubby for both of my children. It was all very heavy when it showed up In the boxes so I needed my husband to carry it upstairs, but as far as the assembly, I felt the instructions were very straight forward. I did follow the advice of someone else that left a review and added the felt tape in the recommended places plus the wood screws through the wood slats. After that, it really seems extremely sturdy and high quality.
Now, I do personally love putting furniture together, I think of it as adult legos. The day and a half it took me to build the two beds with six each, two headboards, two nightstands and two cubbies were extremely enjoyable for me. I would definitely recommend this furniture. The one thing I did not like was nailing in the back covers with the little nails and sometimes I would get too close to an edge and you could see my nail coming through the top or underside of a side/board, but I have that issue when putting together all types of furniture and Im not sure what the solution to that problem would be.
I have since ordered two more dressers from this company and I am so pumped for when they arrive and I get to pour myself a glass of wine, grab my power drill, finish binge watching The Good Place while I build the heck out of these well built, adult lego, dressers.
I bought 2 of these for my boys bedroom. They were sleek and simple/ what I needed for the smaller space. My husband and I are crafty and the DIY type, but it still took us about 2 hours per bed to fully assemble. He was able to assemble the bed almost by himself while I assembled the . My husband used corner brackets to brace the bed on the top and bottom of each corner. Otherwise, these beds would have been pretty wobbly. The offer a ton of storage and have become my boys dressers. They are constructed well and slide easily. I am pretty happy with these beds, thanks to the bracing done by my husband. Otherwise, I would have been a bit leery of the lack of sturdiness.
This bed was a perfect replacment for my son who is a soon to be dad. He bought this to downsize his room to allow for a crib. The made it so he we using space vertically allowing more floor space for baby items. Exactly what we needed.
I would say the bed deserves 4 stars. It wasnt hard at all to assemble and could be done with one person if you have a box (or child) to help prop a part up for one part. The design was exactly what we needed. It seems sturdy enough, but I worry how well its going to hold up to constant use since its a lot of particle board. Im going to keep on eye on it and tighten up the screws each year to make sure it holds. Now that Ive got it assembled and squared up I might take another reviewers suggestion and re/enforce with some brackets. Another star was taken off because it took 2 attempts to get all the boxes shipped. First time around, I got one box with parts of the (not even all the parts to make a full drawer). Second time around I got all three boxes that were supposed to ship (but was in no hurry to get it to me).
I bought this bed with the intentions of having a more minimalist look to my room. I figured I could get rid of the need for dressers and keep it all compact. To be honest there isnt a cry amount of space and its definitely a childrens bed. I plan on getting a new frame and giving away this one. I reinforced with extra wood from homedepot and laid flat plywood under the mattress for extra support due to the mixed reviews on it and its very sturdy. Not what I was expecting but Im not mad just more of a childrens bed
Putting this product was confusing because there were no stickers to indicate which side was correct. This lead to a few redos overall I was able to assemble the bed in under 5 hours. The storage pace is great. I was even able to put somethings behind the pushed in ; there is six small space to pack in stuff. Wish it came with a headboard,Im loo to purchase one. Love all the space it creates.
Some have noted this bed is not terribly sturdy. It is not an Ethan Allen/quality bed frame, but with some additional modifications // 1/inch screws to anchor the slats to the perpendicular crossmembers, and L/brackets at the corners // this bed is solid enough. I was loo for something to replace my sleigh bed because I wanted to streamline; this design is simple and elegant. The six are not spacious, but for most of us any additional storage is helpful.
It took awhile to assembly by myself. Easier if you have a second set of hands to help you out. Love that the color is so dark. We dont put anything heavy in the storage ; its mostly for spare sheets, pillow cases and extra blankets. Very sturdy and very heavy after assembly.

Lots of storage, perfect for smaller spaces, needs extra bracing

Serves its purpose; waiting to see how long it lasts
