My 10 year old daughter has been asking for a loft bed, so that she would have more room in her bedroom. We finally got her one and she couldnt be more excited about it. It was easy to put together, and its sturdy. Shes now in the process of decorating with led lights and curtains to make it a closed area underneath. Its her reading/library area in her room.
The instructions included with this are decent, but abysmal at the same time. There are very tiny details that you will miss in the drawings, and sometimes details will be missing entirely. You can constructvit entirely with whats included in the box, no tools necessary, but expect to be a little confused by the orientation for many different pieces along the way. I had to take a few parts off and rotate them during construction because hoes needed later in the construction were in the wrong place. Overall it wasnt hard to build, it was just time consuming. I guess it would be a fun project for a parent and kid. I personally just watched movies while I slowly put it together. I didnt expect it to take a couple hours and I now know it does because youll be redoing stuff. With better labeling and instructions, I bet someone could put this together in half an hour.
The quality of the frame is pretty good; alignment of items is good and most pieces screwed together with little effort, only a few spots really took a good amount of force to screw together. Also, the bottom bed frame should probably be given some special attention to make sure its properly aligned and squared before dropping your mattress onto it.
My 11 year old loves her new loft bed. This has allowed for extra room in her bedroom and a special reading place under the bed. It is sturdy and I would recommend it.
Overall, this loft bed is exactly what it claims to be. Is it hard to put together? Well, it is a loft bed, it isnt going to be easy. It requires some effort and teamwork to get it up and standing, but overall, simple instructions and easy to assemble- 5 stars.
Sturdy? Yes. I actually crawl up there still with my 9 year old so we can read for 20 minutes before bed. It does wobble some but I do not feel like it is going to tip over or give out under our combined weight of 225 . There are so many support bars underneath that really keep the mattress comfy to lay on.
Value? Worth the money in my book. Space safer. Magic maker according to my kiddo.
What I would say to consider before you buy:
-side ladder is moderately difficult for young children to climb up. 9 year old does great. 6 year old struggles a bit.
-opening at top of ladder is narrow so if anyone has wide hips, youre gunna have to wiggle some.
-metal rungs are a bit painful on small feet
I would buy it again in a heartbeat for my 9 year old. I would not buy it for a 6yo or younger.
Prompt delivery also
My kids were so happy to open these for Christmas. They had been wanting loft beds for awhile now. They were a little difficult to setup but they havent hardly gotten out of them since Christmas morning.

Best one yet
My daughter loves it
Went together great
Kinda liked the open bottom so we could put a dresser and what not under the bed. Freed up the room a little.
