This is an excellent bed for the price. One can assemble but two makes it easier. Took almost 4 hours to put together and we are very mechanically inclined. There were a couple pieces with flaws but fortunately they were against the wall so we didnt complain. My nephews have been using for 6 months with no problems. They are 4 and 5 year olds and love their bed.
Ordered and built two sets by myself. Im a single mom. Had my 12 year old help a little which made things easier but overall it wasnt bad. I made sure to tighten really good while building. My hands are sore today but not bad. I survived. None of my pieces were damaged. Everything is sturdy and seems durable. I am very please for the price. Having four kids I needed a great option to finally give them all their own bed and we only have a two bedroom so this was a perfect solution! The mattresses were off wayfair emma 6 memory foam (no springs) and theyre perfect for these bunk beds. All together I spent about 800 for the bunk beds, mattresses and bedding. Im pretty happy.
Although product is as described, assembly took forever due to so many parts. Within a few months peices were easily dented and slivered especially on ladder.
Not very sturdy and has started creaking incredibly loud when my 8 year old gets into bed and even when he shifts around in his sleep. Ill need to look into that. It was straightforward to assemble however and given the price its not bad. Would pay more for a sturdier model next time though.
When I carefully plan and execute a room redo with a furniture purchase, absolutely nothing is more frustrating than to find out that the dimensions were 6 inches off. This is actually 64 3/4 tall. We have an upstairs half story. This would have fit against the wall at 58.3 tall, but now we lose a foot of space into the room. Extremely frustrating when we were otherwise thrilled with the bed.
