This bed is exactly what I wanted. Its low to the ground so I dont have to worry about my young kids falling. Its incredibly sturdy! Not for nothing, but it was pretty easy to assemble. It took me and my 72 year old mother in law just over an hour to put the whole thing together. Definitely a two person job, especially when attaching the top bunk. The only issue I ran into is that 2 pieces were mislabeled but I noticed pretty quickly and was able to switch them. Overall, it was a great buy!
We read the reviews and knew to go slow when assembling. The important thing to know is that the instructions dont warn you about the siderails and ladder. Make sure to take extra time and see where the holes are so you dont have to take it apart at the end to rearrange and fit the ladder like we did. Also some of the pieces didnt fit snuggly so a few screw stripped.
it took forever to put together but once you get the headboards done it goes pretty fast. The set is beautiful. The only flaw is that the ladder didnt have a way to connect it at the bottom, just the top so it feels kind of flimsy.
The instructions are just a bunch of diagrams with really small details. So hopefully youre a visual person. As for the bed itself, I wish the support slats were a tad sturdier. It felt okay with my weight (140lbs) on the top bunk after assembled, but if pressure is centralized into one area (I.e, child standing or jumping) the pieces of wood bow pretty easily. Going to keep an eye on that. Other than that the bed went together perfectly and it looks aming. Oh , be careful or youre going to end up with splinters. The wood is pretty rough on some of sections of unfinished wood.
Every piece was there, but some parts were mislabeled which made trouble when building it (took longer to figure out which pieces they actually were than it should have). Some pieces are a little tough to piece together, but with a little umph and a helping hand they are snug and sturdy.
Kids love it! Easy to assemble. Instructions are images and all pieces are labeled. Didnt really need power tools until adding the support. Took us about 2.5 hours. Great for memory foam mattress
This bed is well made, sturdy and hold up to 400lbs per bed. It was easy to put together. My boys love their new beds.
My only issues was that it came in one big box and it weighted around 120
Getting that up the stairs was a challenge lol
I ha d to open it to take out parts in order to get it in the house.

Very cute, not great instructions

Disappointed
Predrilled holes drilled in the wrong direction, parts labeled incorrectlyvery frustrating assembly.
This looks just like a Pottery Bark Kids Bed for a fraction of the cost!

Beautiful set, time consuming to put together but not too hard

Good quality for price but Mislabeled parts
