I love this product soooo much. It should be a best seller! A couple of things that make it wonderful is its size. 1. Perfect for a small nursery or space. Although it is small, it is not small on comfort. 2. The swivel part: Aming! I love that I can swivel and rock back and forth. My son could not fall asleep on his own and had to be rocked during his nap times. 5 minutes of rocking and he was knocked out! 3. Perfect for breastfeeding: us breastfeeding mamas know we spend a lot of time feeding our babies and it is important for us to be comfortable. I love during the nighttime feedings I would place the bobby pillow infront, lean back on the chair and take a little nap while my son ate. 4. Color: is a dark grey and cleans up spit up and other stuff very easily. 6. It is very modern and does not neccesary look like a so when you child is older you can use it in other parts of the house.
Recommendations: This does not come with the ottoman but I do recommend getting one. The matching ottoman is pretty pricey so I just ended up buying a small grey ottoman from Target to 15 and it works just as great.
Its OK. I ordered the chair on a Wednesday, was told to expect it in a week and instead received it two days later! It arrived in perfect condition: no damage to the box or the chair inside as some previous reviewers have mentioned. What I love: the size (fits very well in a corner of our smallish nursery), the smoothness of the gliding mechanism (which is also soundless/no annoying clicks or rattles) the value for cost (cant beat the price!) and also how surprisingly comfortable it is for a compact little chair! What I dont love so much: the color. The only reason this chair is rating 4 stars instead of 5 for me is that the ecru is much more of a beige than a white/off white as it appears in the picture and I was a little disappointed about that. But as that is literally my only complaint I wouldnt hesitate to recommend this chair to anyone
I bought this for my 2nd child. We had the typical wood rocker with my 1st and of course it creaks everytime you rock in it. So, wanted something that was quiet. This chair looks great in the nursery. Its soft and very comfortable. I love the swivel and how small it is without taking up much room. The only thing Im not a fan of is the lack of head support and the sloped arm rest. I miss the arm rest of the rocking chair we had, since now that my son is getting heavier to hold for night feedings. But, I still do like the chair and how comfortable it is for buying online and never seeing it person before I bought it. Plus, I love the grey color!! This chair will last awhile I can tell!
Fast service. This is a comfy chair. The fabric is a pleasant soft cool gray color (not the brownish gray color in the product photo). It is a compact size that fits nicely in a small space. The only problem is the base. Rather than swiveling on the outer ring of the base, the chair is swiveling on the center bolt. This might be the bent issue that others have complained about. I contacted the manufacturer, and they are sending a replacement base to me. Hopefully this fixes the issue, as I really like this chair otherwise.
UPDATE: I received the replacement base from the manufacturer. It functions the same as the original: if no one is sitting in the chair, it swivels on the center bolt rather than the outer ring. (I should mention that its sitting on a hardwood floor, not carpet.) If I sit in the chair just right though, my weight will be distributed properly on the outer ring. Since Ive already thrown away the original packaging, and Im too busy (or ly?) to return it anyway Ill probably place a small rug under it to see if that helps.
Fantastic Size. While I am very satisfied with this purchase, there are a few things to be addressed. While is it very stylish and made of a soft fabric, it is much smaller and muuuch shorter than I expected. My 6 ft husband isnt comfortable sitting in it too long, but I am fine. It has started squeaking (weve had it for about 5 months) and occasionally the squeaks are annoying. If you can afford a more exoensive , do it. This was perfect for our budget and fits perfectly in our tiny nursery. We use it multiple times a day and it really is a great buy.
Fantastic and Sturdy. Good size, good quality. I got the grey one and it is a great color because it goes with everything. Rocks smoothly. Needs a footstool though.
Love this chair! Im 4 11 was looking for a small rocking chair to nurse my newborn. This is perfect!! She is 7 months now, and I still rock her to sleep in it every night. It fits in the corner of my bedroom without taking up so much space. You can also use a boppy with this chair. My husband is 5 9 he uses it as well. Only bad thing is be careful when moving into a room. The fabric scratched on the first day trying to get it through the door. Keep the plastic on until you have it in the space you want it to be.
My mom loves it. I needed a smaller chair for the nursery to replace my awesome lyboy. This chair is comfy and quiet and compact. Perfect for reading stories to my toddler and I love that it swivels.
Quality could be improved. I really like this , is very comfortable and i really wanted this modern look that goes great with the rest of the furniture.
Not so good: the arms does not give you appropiate support for nursering and if youre struggling with your first baby on proper nursing techniques is not the best choice, also it doesnt have head support but that is obvious so not complaining about that but it would be nice to have it.
What really bothers me right now is that when gliding, it makes a creaking noise, we tried to fix it but dont know exactly what it is! So after my baby falls asleep its really hard to stand up without a squeak that sometimes wakes him up.
