Okay, this bed is fairly easy to assemble, though its not quite accurate to say no tools are required. You will need to use the included Allen wrench and mini/wrench to insert the screws and bolts that hold this together and you will most likely need at least two people to do it as the frame is rather heavy.
Once the outer frame is put together, its pretty easy to push in the cross supports. A queen/sized mattress fits into it snugly, with not much extra space (which is nice).
My issue with the bedframe is that its quite high, making it super modern/looking and stark, as well as making the room appear smaller (because the space from the bed to the ceiling is less than it would otherwise be). If you need a lot of space under the bed, you might like this aspect of it. However, unless your rooms decor is starkly modern, you might find it a tad industrial looking. Enough strength.
