Ive been using this bed for 5 1/2 months now and I believe thats enough time to give an honest opinion.
Packaging: This bed ships in 1 large flat rectangular box. All the pieces are packaged into the headboard which I thought was quite innovative. They come zipped into the back. Once assembled, you can hide stuff in the large cavity. cool!
Assembly: Comes with instructions but they arent really needed. Its pretty straight forward. It even comes with the tools to assemble it (an allen ratcheting wrench which I believe was all you needed). I assembled this with my dad within 15 minutes but I couldve done it on my own. The one awkward part was the slats which get affixed to the frame via velcro.
Construction/Materials: The bed is anchored by 4 plastic legs on the corners and I think 5 more legs underneath.
It is very secure and doesnt wobble. In my opinion, I think there is more than enough space underneath for storage. My cat likes to hang out underneath and he can also sit upright without bumping his cute little head with his little pink nose. Im not sure if my slats were warped because of the snow that my box was package was delivered in but since they were warped, they didnt roll completely flat onto the frame. This shouldnt matter once the mattress weighs it down but just the same, they werent completely secure under their own weight. The fabric all over is of great quality. My cat especially loves hopping on top of the headboard to dig his claws into and wake me up every morning. I suppose he likes it too. Despite his clawing, it has held up pretty well. Inside the headboard, there is some foam so you do have some cushion if you press your head into it
Overall: You cant really go wrong with this bed. Its might be the best option on for something that looks sleek and doesnt break the bank. My only concern was the warped slats which I cant really blame the factory for as I cant confirm if it was their fault or the snowy night that my package was delivered on. This bed gets an A from me.
Its also cat approved! It held up quite well for all the tests that my lil buddy, with his fancy paws, put it through.
