It arrived in a single box 12 hrs sooner than expected . Very heavy. My husband put it together in a few hours by himself with interuptions. The quality of the materials is very good. Color is nice. My 4 yr old loves being up high. My 2.5 yr old needs a little help climbing in to the lower bunk. Hell grow into it. This will function as their bed for a long time. Save some money and buy this.
