My 14 year old wanted a futon to sleep on, which I dissuaded him from doing, but I did agree to let him have one for a hang out area for his friends and him. It was affordable enough that he paid for it with his own graduation money and simple enough to assemble that he did it himself in less than 20 minutes! Also we ordered it on a Sunday night and it was literally delivered by Tuesday morning! Super fast and a day earlier than expected! The futon IS low to the ground like several other reviewers have mentioned, but perfect for its intended use in our house. And now gives us an extra overnight spot for a guest. The best part is that the the faux leather seems durable and is definitely easy to wipe down if something gets spilled on it! The center pull down cupholders are a bonus!!
