Im super pleased with the solid design of this king bed frame. I love the fact that theres one cross bar central going left to right while there are two going top to bottom which get bolted to each other. All that prior to putting in the wood slats - which there are three sections of, not two, giving me more security for its strength. The instructions to put it together were good. I rate them an 8.5/10 because step 5 actually involves two steps - bolting the center bars together as well as bolting the support beam bars to the perimeter. I struggled doing the perimeters first only to discover the center bar holes didnt align. Had to undo the half hour perimeter work and start with center. TIP: Step 5 should specifiy to start with the center first. All in all, it was challenging aligning some of the holes here and there which added work time but ultimately, they were aligned. So building it was a slight pain in the butt but Id do it all over again because the end result is extremely worth it if youre looking for a more solid platform king sized bed frame.
