I now have two sets of these, one in each style, and they are a sharp accent to my breakfast bar. Easy to assemble, all parts were accounted for, and packaging was good. Sometimes the compressor feels sticky when adjusting the seat height; considered a spritz of WD40 (if anyone has tried that?). Only one suggestion: do not climb onto or out of the chair too quickly; the base is wide enough for stability but the chairs can tip (would not recommend for tiny tykes unless on the shortest setting). Otherwise, very comfortable, easily re/positioned, and variable height is great!
