Odd height. Ok if you have a long torso, but short waisted people beware!
This desk was easy for my husband to assemble, came packaged well and is sturdy. Overall the quality is ok, but Im well aware that you get what you pay for. My issues with the desk are that the knobs are really ugly and very cheap looking. The gold color is off, they are more brassy. At least thats an easy fix. The desk overall is also too tall, which gives it a disproportionate look. The biggest problem for me though is the height of the table top/drawers. With my chair raised so my legs are touching the underside of the desk, the desk surface is oddly too high. It makes working at the desk uncomfortable. My arms are just not in the right spot, I almost have to hold them up, if that makes any sense. I am average height at 55, but am somewhat short waisted, so it doesnt help. If you have a long torso, it would probably be ok. If given the choice, I would not buy this desk again. More sturdy than expected.
