Very easy to assemble. Not sturdy enough for my 8 year old that thinks its a jungle gym, have to reinforce with some additional supports on the sides and back. Ive had to tighten the bolts a few times on the piece that keeps him from rolling out of bed. Other than that the mattress frame itself is sturdy and the stairs are as well. comfortable and stylish product.
