My mom loves it.Came fairly quickly, and while in separate boxes both halves of the couch were delivered at the same time. I was impressed at how easy it was to put together! No extra screwdrivers or hammers, just screw the legs into the bottom of the couch and slide the seats/arm rests together. The cushions are firm (which I prefer) and the velvet material is soft. I havent tried laying on it as a futon, but it feels pretty stable in the upright position//I definitely wouldnt try jumping or climbing on it though. Very happy with my purchase
