The chair might be better looking in person than in the picture. The navy color is identical, and the velvet is butter-soft. It's a little stiff compared to a larger club chair, but I find it comfortable to sit in to watch TV. The packaging was outstanding and it was really easy to put the legs on. I got velvet because I have cats- it doesn't pull as easily as fabric. It's extremely sturdy and level. Great chair, especially for the price.
