these are just o.k. they were inexpensive, but the black paint chips off easily and the paint job on the top of the table is not smooth and sleek. On one of the tables, there are some rough bubble paint spots from dried on paint that looks like it was just painted over instead of sanded down. Also, the large grain of the wood underneath the paint shows through the paint. (almost looks like painted oak wood) i bought two and assembled them to use as extra end tables in my living room to hold a lamp and a cup of coffee and they are sturdy enough for that, but their appearance is just not as nice as i was hoping for. Now that they are assembled, I dont hate them enough to return them, but Im not overly impressed and would not recommend them either. just look a bit cheap and junky and the finish is nowhere near as nice as the picture depicts.
