The chair is a true navy blue. It is simple to put together for a 65 grandma! I consider it a medium weight for me to carry. Sturdy after assembly. The legs have adjusters on the bottom to stabilize if your floor is uneven, mine didn't need any adjustments. I've read that some buyers thought the chair was a little hard, I find it to be perfectly comfortable. Not too firm and not too soft! It is a perfect match to my guest room navy decor!
