This junior loft bed is great for kids. It is very stable and seems like it will hold up well for years. The stairs have storage space that my granddaughter loves and to me they seem safer than a ladder. The stairs also give the bed more stability. The bed uses a twin size mattress and she will age out of this bed before she outgrows it. I did buy the castle themed curtains for the bottom and they make a great tent/playhouse for her. She loves the bed and I am happy I bought it. I would recommend this bed to a friend and would buy it again! Love the finished product!!
